The JourneyMEN D+D Group began this afternoon with our band of adventurers meeting on a ship in Neverwinter harbour, for a 6-month voyage to escape their previous lives.

The group consists of Zeltron, a high elf wizard, Beowulf, a human paladin, Draven Lighthammer A dwarf cleric, Spectrum a lightfoot halfling rogue and Wiseman, a wood elf fighter.

The five adventurers had never met before but after nearly six months on board ship they had become a working team, with only 3 weeks of the voyage left and the team not knowing their location in the world, a huge storm kicked up, while confined to cabins the team heard screams from the decks, venturing outside they could find no evidence of the crew, the storm was still raging but the sails were not set. Searching the ship, they found that the captains’ cabin was locked from the inside. Spectrum picked the lock, and the cabin was found empty with a window broken from the inside, but no captain.

Beowulf took the helm during the storm his strength helping guide the ship safely. The storm dissipated over night and in the morning to the east a small speck of land was spotted a course was set and the island grew bigger on the horizon.

Searching the ship, the team found the hold locked which was entered by Spectrum and found to be empty, the land on the horizon was getting bigger and they began to see an open-air temple appear on the top of cliffs in the distance. The team had at least a days sailing to get to the land they could see and so decided to rest up until they reached the mysterious land, hoping that their questions would be answered when they arrived.
