“Pride of Sefton 2” is a wide beam canal boat – based on the traditional working boats which plied the canals of Britain for centuries – located at Stanley Dock.
A leisure trip aboard the Pride of Sefton 2 will see you travel the hidden waterways of Liverpool, taking in beautiful countryside and urban landscapes between the historic Stanley and Brunswick Docks. Savour the breath-taking sights of the majestic Three Graces and the Royal Albert Dock from your vantage point sailing through Mann Island, before disembarking to enjoy a relaxing drink
The Pride Of Sefton is part of an exciting three-year conservation project with the Canal and River Trust. Our Canals and Waterways are in decline and such an incredibly important part of our heritage and history that we must preserve. We offer Community groups and charities trips to enable those from disadvantaged communities/ backgrounds to get away from the stresses of life. We are also proud of our volunteering programme which gives those with boating experience to get involved with our narrowboat by training as Crew members and giving something back to their communities. We have found this give volunteers an enormous sense of well being.
Once we are out of lockdown we will start trips & training for our men so register an interest in the meantime in order that you do not miss out on an amazing trip.
